The Sector

That opens the Hunter coal sector's haul roads, access roads, hardstands and laydown areas on NSW mine sites to a stabilisation contractor most of the sector's usual civil contractors can't match on the pavement work itself.

This page is for the site services manager, the mine's civil contractor, or the procurement lead looking for pavement capability that can go through the gate.

What MDG15 means here

Mine Design Guideline 15 sets the standard for mobile and transportable plant on NSW mines: fire suppression, isolation, access, lighting, communications, operator protection, and the documentation behind each. Compliance is per machine and audited on entry.

Accurate's stabilisers, water carts, rollers and support plant meet it. Crews hold the inductions and competencies. The ISO 45001 safety management system that runs every Accurate job is the same one that goes onto site.

Why a specialist

Why a stabilisation specialist for mine roads

Mine haul roads are built from what's on site and then hammered by 200-tonne trucks. Stabilising the running surface gives a road that holds under load, drains, and needs a fraction of the grading, done in place with minimal interruption to the haul cycle.

  • MDG15 compliant

Fleet upgraded to mine standard in 2024.

  • Built for haul loads

Running surfaces that carry haul trucks without rutting.

  • Less downtime

    Failed sections rebuilt in place.

What we deliver

Haul roads, access roads and hardstands.

Running surfaces, light-vehicle roads, stabilised platforms and dust treatment, delivered in place by plant that passes the gate.

Cost efficiency

Same ground. Lower costs.

In-situ stabilisation reuses the material already in the ground, so there is no new material to import and no spoil to cart away. Less transport, less handling and a single mobilisation of plant make it a faster, more cost-effective way to rebuild a road.

Traditional approach

More transport. Higher costs. Longer program.

  • Import material

New gravel carted in from the quarry, load by load.

  • Export waste

The old pavement dug out and trucked away as spoil.

  • More plant and labour

Extra trucks, excavators and crew on site for longer.

  • Increased costs

Haulage, tipping and program time all add to the price.

In-situ stabilisation

Less movement. A smarter solution.

  • Reuse existing material

Stabilise on site, with nothing imported and nothing carted away.

  • Lower transport costs

Fewer truck movements, less haulage and less disruption to traffic.

  • Faster delivery

One pass of the recycler, compacted and back under traffic sooner.

How to engage

How to engage Accurate

  1. Send the scope

Haul road, access road, hardstand or laydown area: the site, the area and what the surface has to carry.

  2. Compliance handled first

MDG15 compliance documentation and site inductions are handled before the crew reaches the gate.

  3. Get in touch

Call the depot or send the scope to quotes@accuratestabilising.com.au for a method and a rate.
