Dust suppression
A water cart suppresses dust for an hour. A stabilised surface does it for years.
What it is
For unsealed roads, haul roads, quarry access, laydown areas and hardstands, Accurate delivers dust suppression by treating the surface itself: a dry polymer or light binder mixed into the top 100–200mm of the existing material, compacted and shaped.
The surface binds, sheds water instead of turning to mud, and stops generating the fine particles that become dust.
This is a different proposition from spraying a suppressant on top: it's a pavement treatment, and it's done once.

- Mine and quarry haul roadsDust is a safety issue (visibility, respirable particulates) and a compliance one. A stabilised haul road surface reduces both and cuts the water-cart hours that go with it. Accurate's fleet is MDG15 compliant for NSW coal mine sites.
- Unsealed council roadsSchool bus routes, roads past houses, roads where dust complaints keep coming in. Treatment instead of sealing.

Common questions.
01How is the surface treated?
The existing surface is scarified or mixed with the stabiliser, the polymer or binder is applied at the specified rate, the layer is watered to optimum moisture, compacted, and graded to shape. Depending on the product it can be trafficked within hours. For a longer-term result on a road that's going to carry real traffic, the treatment goes deeper and uses a structural binder.
