The story
Accurate Roads Group is the name over a business that has operated from Newcastle since 2001 under its registered company name, Accurate Asphalt & Road Repairs Pty Ltd.
That name is the one on every register: Transport for NSW prequalification, the AustStab accredited contractors list, Local Government Procurement, ISO certificates and buy.nsw. Accurate Stabilising and Accurate Roads Group are trading names of the same company. If you're checking a tender submission against a register, they're one and the same.
The three divisions
Accurate Stabilising. In-situ stabilisation, pavement recycling and road rehabilitation. The specialism, and the larger part of the group's work.
Accurate Asphalt & Road Repairs. Asphalt surfacing, profiling, heavy patching and road repairs. On this site, the finishing capability that completes a stabilisation job.
Civil & base construction. Excavation, base placement, grading, compaction and final trim. The third capability that lets the group take on whole-of-pavement scopes.
Across all three, it's the same crews, the same plant, the same systems and the same phone number.
Why one group rather than three companies
Because a road doesn't get rehabilitated by one trade.
A typical council job starts with an assessment of what's in the ground, moves through stabilisation of the base, and finishes with a surfacing course. Done by three separate contractors, that's three mobilisations, three sets of paperwork, and three people to call when something's not right. Done by Accurate, it's one contract and one site supervisor.
That integration, more than any single service, is what defines the business commercially. It reduces coordination for the client, and it lets Accurate self-deliver more of each job than a single-discipline contractor could.
The structure
The business operates through two entities: Accurate Asphalt & Road Repairs Pty Ltd (ABN 41 096 051 311), the trading company; and ARR Administration Pty Ltd, which owns the plant and hires it to the trading company.
